South African model Candice Swanepoel has landed on the cover of Victoria’s Secret Swim catalog for the third straight year.
The three-year sweep is an amazing feat for the striking blonde who was discovered by a model scout at a flea market in 2003. Since then, she’s been featured on the cover of many top fashion magazines, appeared in the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, modeled for sports brands like Nike, and is currently on Maxim’s Hot 100 list. She’s also ranked No. 10 on Forbe’s list of the top-earning models in the world.
“It was such an honor to be picked for the cover,” Swanepoel told People.com. “It is such an iconic catalogue. Before I was a model, I used to see Gisele Bündchen, Tyra Banks and all of those iconic women on it. It is amazing that a little South African girl can get on the cover.”
The 24-year-old beauty and her fellow Victoria’s Secret Angels hit the beaches of Miami and Turks and Caicos for the photo shoot.
