Tennis star Maria Sharapova, 25, blushed and giggled her way through questions about whether she’s dating 21-year-old tennis pro Grigor Dimitrov.
ESPN’s Chris Fowler and Chris Evert put Sharapova on the spot during a live broadcast of the Australian Open.
Sharapova, ranked No. 2 in the world, was caught off guard when she was asked about her rumored boyfriend, Dimitrov. He’s ranked No. 41 in the world but lost his first-round match.
Her most telling comment: “He’ll be fine. Trust me. The way he plays, he’ll be fine,” said Sharapova.

That’s about as close as we’re going to get to a confirmation that Sharapova and Dimitrov are dating. But his lips are sealed.
“People love gossip,” Dimitrov said. “Who doesn’t? But I believe it’s a privacy invasion. I don’t think that’s right. It’s not because we’re different, but because it’s not right to athletes in general. It should be forbidden to even be asked. But it is what it is, right?”
