Rumors circulated that Danish model Nina Agdal landed the cover of the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

She didn’t.  

Kate Upton actually landed the cover for the second year in a row.

This year, Agdal appeared in a Super Bowl ad for Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s.

She followed in the footsteps of Upton who appeared in a Carl’s Jr. ad last year.

Believe it or not, Agdal never heard of the Super Bowl.

“I’m not an American so I’m not so familiar with Super Bowl,” Agdal told OK!. ”So I Googled it and that’s when I realized how big of a deal it was. I got very excited!”
